Banco Nacional is making apologies for the problems with its banking on line Web page.
The bank has been experiencing problems since last week, but the apology only showed up Tuesday on the Web site.
The online banking pages had been slow to load and sometimes never loaded, the bank noted. The announcement said that their computer specialists and specialists from the company that provided the software have been called in. The company was not identified.
The problems do not seem to extend to the bank’s internal computer system because tellers at various branches appear to have no trouble and some were unaware of the problems with the Web page.
