Carelessness is the cause for field and forest fires

I find it necessary to write in respect to the death of Andrés Cruz Castro, and I beg the public to be aware of what can happen when we become careless. What I mean by careless is setting a fire to clean a field, or carelessly dropping a cigarette on a roadway or near dry material.

After fighting fires for the U.S. Forest Service, and the California Department of Forestry, I find it totally absurd that the Costa Rican government does not fine people who are burning in this dry weather. If the person(s) are ever found who started the fire, they could be charged with killing this young father. But I doubt that will ever happen. Thanks for your time.
