Oil company says it lost helicopter in jungle in Perú

French oil company Perenco says a helicopter it chartered has gone down in the northeastern jungle of Perú with 13 people aboard.

Perenco said in a statement Sunday that the Peruvian military is searching for survivors, but so far none has been found.

The crash took place in the Curaray River area, far northeast of the capital, Lima. The cause has not yet been determined.
