Pretend cops are detained after home robbery in Nicoya

Three men have been detained on the allegation that them pretended to be judicial agents in order to invade a home and hold the occupants captive.

A judge in Nicoya awarded the men six months each of preventative detention.

The Poder Judicial said that the men used trickery to enter the home and take valuables but that they were detained not long after the crime. They were identified by the last names of Castro, Bejarano and Arce.
