There is another Art City Tour Wednesday. This is the event where those who participate can visit museums, galleries and other cultural hotspots for free.
The Museo de Arte Costarricense will preview that night its next exposition, “Código de Pasión” by Pedro Arrieta. The museum is in the Centro Nacional de la Cultura, the culture ministry, in the old liquor factory on Avenida 7. Like the museums, the Ministerio de Cultura y Juventud will open the doors for the exposition from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
There also are buses to carry participants from one location to another. The buses are color coded by route and outlined on the Art City Tour Facebook page. The buses will stop at the new exposition, too.
Participants do not have to take a bus. They can enter on foot or by their own transportation.
The places of interest are in San José downtown, Barrio Amón, Barrio Escalante, Los Yoses and La Sabana. Those who participate will not be able to see all the locations, so many take the tour every time it is offered. Wednesday is the 22nd edition. The sponsor is GAM Cultural.
For this edition the Universidad Veritas is presenting short films about La Sabana.
