Two free concerts planned for Alajuela and San José

The Boston Brass jazz quintet and the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional are offering two free concerts. The first is tonight in Alajuela. The second is Wednesday in the auditorium the Museo de los Niños  in San José.

The Boston Brass has been playing for 26 years, Among the members is  José Sibaja, a Costa Rican who plays trumpet.

The program for the concerts contains 10  works, said the Ministerio de Cultura y Juventud.

The Alajuela performance tonight is in the gym of the  Colegio Marista at 7 p.m.  The children’s museum performance is at 8 p.m.
