Judicial agents came upon four men threatening and beating another Tuesday in the San Sebastián area of San José.
When they broke up the dispute, they found that the aggressors, between 20 and 30 years, were heavily armed. Not only were there two pistols, but one had a 7.62-caliber rifle. The victim was 49.
The Judicial Investigating Organization said that the confrontation was due to personal problems, but they did not explain who the four men were or why they were so heavily armed. The men were remanded to the custody of prosecutors.
