An agency within the culture ministry is exhibiting some 120 photographs of Russia. This is an award-winning exhibition that is divided into two parts.
The first are historical photos of buildings, personalities and landscapes from as long ago as the 19th century. The second contains work by Mikhail Nikitin of St Petersburg, who photographs architecture and natural beauty, said the Centro de Investigación y Conservación del Patrimonio Cultural.
The exhibit is in the Centro’s office opposite Lehmann’s on the downtown San José pedestrian mall. The exhibit is supported by the Russian Embassy. The exhibit will be there through Oct. 31. It is called “Imágenes y facetas de Rusia.”
