Regulating agency holds the line on tariffs for state water firm

The water rates for customers of the Instituto Nacional de Acueductos y Alcantarillados will not change during the first half of the year. The Autoridad Reguladora de Servicios Públicos said that the   state water company has sufficient income to support its operations and projected programs for the beginning of the year.

The regulating agency also asked the company to develop a plan of action to respond to the needs of users and to improve services.
