Police in Limón receive 32 pickups for patrol work

The central government Wednesday turned over 32 patrol pickups to police in the province of Limón. The vehicles represent an investment of 766 million colons or about $1.4 million.

President Laura Chinchilla was there at the Parque de Limón for a presentation.  Mario Zamora, the security minister, noted that the Servicio Nacional de Guardacostas has a new base at Limón and that a base is being constructed at Sixaola.
