Application brings users the weather

The national weather institute has created a cell telephone application that provides extensive amount of information and also provides real time data in emergencies.

The application is free and available through the Apple Store or Play Store.

Basically the device put all the current weather data on cell telephone. That includes more than just the temperature and forecasts, although they are there, too.

The application provides an ultraviolet radiation index, for example. Users also can report their local weather via the application, said an announcement.

The application was done by the Instituto Meteorológico Nacional and the  Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo.

The application also includes video games that discuss climate change and promotes conservation, according to an announcement.
