The opera season begins Oct. 11 with the presentation of Giuseppe Verdi’s “Macbeth” direct from the Metropolitan Opera.
The signal is received at the Centro Cultural Costarricense-Norteamericano for display in the center’s Eugene O´Neill Theater in high definition.
There are a total of 10 operas that will be shown in the Los Yoses center, including five new productions. They include “The Merry Widow,” “The Marriage of Figaro” and “The Lady of the Lake.”
The presentations run through April 25, and all begin in the late morning.
