Today there is tango at jade museum

The new jade museum is taking a leaf out of the books of other similar facilities by establishing a weekly musical event.

Today the Entre Quintos wind quintet, the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional and the Instituto Nacional de la Música will present a program at 5 p.m. The program is free.

On the program at two well-known tango arrangements: “Libertango” by  Astor Piazzoll and “Volver” by Carlos Gardel. Also on the program is “Serenata” by Antonín Dvořák.

The museum which is correctly called the Museo del Jade y la Cultura Precolombina, is on the west side of the Plaza de la Demcracia on Avenida Central.
