Dear A.M. Costa Rica:
I think it is great that A.M. Costa Rica saw fit to run an article about INBio’s insect collection. However the photo caption misidentified the insects as cockroaches. The pictured insects are actually aquatic hemipterans called backswimmers, which are rather different from cockroaches.
EDITOR’S NOTE: We accept the correction, although it conflicts with the identification provided by the Museo Nacional. We have changed the Page One text accordingly.
