Industrial chamber seeks international ties

The Cámara de Industrias will have a new executive director as of January.

He is Francisco Gamboa, who now is director of commercial intelligence at the  Promotora de Comercio Exterior.

Enrique Egloff, chamber president said that the appointment is an effort to develop an international strategy for the chamber by developing strong alliances with national and international organizations for the transfer of technology, innovations and business leadership.

Gamboa worked as an economics advisor for the Cámara de Comercio and the Banco Central de Costa Rica and also consulted with the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, the World Health Organization and other international agencies.
