Mexican investment being sought there

The nation’s commerce minister and other foreign investment experts were seeking to impress Mexican business operators this week in the capital of México.

The minister of Comercio Exterior, Alexander Mora, and Jorge Sequeira, the director general of the Coalición Costarricense de Iniciativas de Desarrollo, were involved with six meetings with potential investors.

The ministry reported that the sectors involved were energy, aviation, services and telecommunications.

The two men also are trying to find outlets for Costa Rican goods and services in México, the ministry reported.

President Luis Guillermo Solís will join the commercial campaign today. He has been in Veracruz at the Iberian Summit.
