Montezuma gets a tourism chamber

Tourism operators in the Nicoya beach town have formed the Cámara de Turismo de Montezuma. The new organization has received the blessing of the Cámera Nacional de Turismo.

The president of the new chamber is William Morales.

The new chamber now has 15 tourism businesses as members and has the assistance to the Federación de Cámaras de Turismo de la Península de Nicoya.

Montezuma, which has the reputation of a funky, laid back beach town, has continued to grow, and the new chamber also plans to address development issues, such as the local zoning plan, the plan regulador, and the local infrastructure.
