Turrialba puts on a morning show with water vapor and gas

The Turrialba volcano shot off a plume of gas and water vapor Wednesday morning, but experts said that there was no ash in the eruption.

The mountain’s activity could be seen through much of the country after 8 a.m.

The volcano experts said the activity was normal.

There still are alerts in force around the volcano and its national park.

The Red Sismológica Nacional said that the volcano was maintaining the same level this month as it had in January, which is relatively low.
