Police locate second suspect in bus driver killing

Fuerza Publica officers have detained the second suspect in the murder of a bus driver.  The arrest took place about 6:25 p.m. Wednesday in Los Sitios de Moravia.

The 20-year-old man who has the last name of  Mayorga will be accused of killing the driver in a robbery Tuesday afternoon. That was near La Milpa, Heredia. Police managed to capture a 16-year-old suspect Tuesday afternoon as the climax of a massive search.

The Fuerza Pública said the older suspect was caught in the vicinity of a home occupied by family members.

Judicial agents said they conducted a search of a home in la Milpa earlier Wednesday and located evidence.

Police said the man detained Wednesday night had a juvenile criminal record.

Judicial agents identified the dead driver by the last name of  Ureña. They gave a different name Tuesday shortly after the killing.

The robbers got away with the sponge typical of  buses where the driver has carved out indentations to hold change.capture032615
