Food and drink training for tourism

Tourism employees on the Pacific coast will receive training in upscale food and drinks Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

The training is a project of the  Cámara de Comercio y Turismo de Tamarindo, the Instituto Costarricense de Turismo and the Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje/

The three-day training will be at the  Hotel Barceló Playa Langosta.

The canton of Santa Cruz has many hotels, and perhaps as much as 90 percent of the workforce is directly or indirectly related to tourism.

The training will include typical Costa Rican dishes as well as drinks and proper food handling, said  an announcement.
