Loss of citizenship not likely for vets

Dear A.M. Costa Rica:

A.M. Costa Rica published an interesting letter to the editor about the possibility of losing your military pension if you become the naturalized citizen of a country other than the U.S.

It’s sort of like the possibility of a jail sentence for visiting Cuba without prior official approval. How many times does it happen? I would rather spend my energy on worrying about things that might actually happen. Indeed, if the U.S. were to stop the pension of a vet, it would not be for becoming a dual citizen of non-military little Costa Rica.
