When robbers killed a taxi driver, they threw his body into a well. That was in Guadalupe de Liberia.
In 2010 parts of the body turned up, and investigators identified the victim as a 63-year-old man with the last name of Contreras. Despite efforts, they could not find his head.
Judicial agents now way that they think the head has reappeared. They said a skull came from the same well, and they suspect it is of the taxi driver. The owner of the property and the well contracted for work to deepen it, and workmen located the skull, agents said.
Workers are the judicial morgue now have the job of verifying the identity of the skull.
