Experts to consider unconventional energy

A two-day meeting of experts will consider unconventional systems of energy generation.

This is a gathering of experts from much of Latin America.  The sessions are being held at the facilities of the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad in Sabana Norte.

The unconventional sources of energy are renewable, according to an announcement. That includes solar and wind, but it also included capturing the ocean tides, biogas, biocombustibles and other sources that are not usually considered.

The electrical institute’s staffers will have major roles.
