Vice president is off to India today

Second Vice President Ana Helena Chacón leaves today for India and the India-Latin America Caribbean Conclave. The event is Thursday and Friday in New Delhi. It is organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry, jointly with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of External Affairs.

There are representatives attending from most Latin countries, according to an agenda that is online.

The vice president is scheduled to meet with Rodolfo Nin Novoa, minister of foreign affairs in Uruguay and to give two presentations. One is on women in Costa Rican society and the other is on the handicapped here, said Casa Presidencial.
