Costanera Sur paint bids close today

Road officials will close the bidding today on a contract to put lines on the Costanera Sur between Dominical and Palmar Norte. The highway has been asphalted, and expats have complained that there are no lines.

The $1 million job is to install reflective line markers as well as apply thermoplastic paint, said the Consejo Nacional de Vialidad. Five firms already have submitted bids. The job is expected to be done in the first four months of the new year.
