Water shutoff for Santa Ana and Pozos

The state water company, Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados, said that water will be cut off today in Santa Ana and Pozos from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The company said that the reason for the shutoff  is that a storage tank needs to be maintained.

About 7,000 persons are expected to be affected by the shutoff, mostly in Santa Ana Chispa, Ciudadela Invu, Praderas del Sol, Prados del Oeste, Valle Soleado, Vista Real, San Rafael, Don Lalo and points nearby, said the company.
