Agricultural engineers are planning a free seminar on the production of biofuels.
The seminar will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Colegio de Ingenieros Agrónomos in Residencial Los Colegios, Moravia.
The organization noted that interest in agricultural products to make biofuels is increasing. But many products have high costs and need study before planting.
Some expats are involved in the production of biofuels with various types of plants.
The schedule includes addressing the use of sugar cane, coyol, palm oil and other potential bio fuels. The seminar also is supposed to address the legal implications.
The event is part of the organization’s 75th anniversary celebration.
