Financial services firm opens new location

Fiserv, Inc., a publicly traded U.S. company, has opened a new location in the Oficentro Terra Campus in Tres Ríos. The firm said it was seeking 400 technical support and service personnel.

The Brookfield, Wisconsin, firm has been in Costa Rica since 2004. The company characterized itself as a global provider of financial services technology solutions. The company has just been added to the Fortune 500 list of firms with substantial revenue.

The company’s principal customers are banks and other leasing and finance companies. The firm’s first location here is in the Zona Franca Metropolitana en Barreal de Heredia where 550 persons are employed, it said.

Fiserv says it serves 13,000 clients worldwide, providing them with integrated technology and services solutions that enable their customers to move and manage money safely and securely with speed, ease and convenience.
