Man faces his 35th criminal case

A 31-year-old resident of  Matina, Limón, has been placed in preventative detention on the allegation that he was selling crack cocaine.

His arrival should be old home week at the prison. The Fuerza Pública said that this is the man’s 35th criminal case. They said the first arrest was on a drug charge in 2011. He also had been detained for armed aggression this year. Nearly all the cases involve drugs.

Police said he was detained Sunday with 74 crack rocks near a church in Batan.
