Session today will consider the future

The Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Comercio with the support of a German development organization and the International Labour Organization, is inviting the public to participate in open discussions about the future of Costa Rica in the year 2050.

The meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. today in the Colegio de Profesionales en Ciencias Económicas en San Pedro.

The ministry announcement said that it was seeking citizen participation to design a policy that would begin a new era of production in Costa Rica. It is a continuation of a similar meeting in March, it added.

A new policy is sought to enhance production and also social progress, it said.

The German development organization is the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit.
