The Compañía Nacional de Teatro is presenting the Arthur Miller tragedy “A View from the Bridge.”
The play debuts in the Teatro La Aduana Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. The play will be presented at the same times Saturdays and Sundays until Aug. 28.
The bridge is the Brooklyn Bridge, and the drama involves a family of Italian immigrants in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn.
The play includes misplaced love and death.
The drama organization said the play was selected for this season to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Arthur Miller., who probably is best known for his play “Death of a Salesman” and for his marriage with Marilyn Monroe.
Miller grew up in Brooklyn after his family members lost their fortune in the crash of 1929.
The play is called “Panorama desde el puente” here and will be acted in Spanish.
