Highway officials say they have received bids from Costa Rican and international companies to design and execute several public works.
The information came from the Consejo Nacional de Vialidad and the Ministerio de Obras Públicas.
One job involved is on Ruta 4 Between Birmania and Santa Cecilia where a hard surface will be put over gravel. The job also includes building five bridges between La Cruz and Santa Cecilia.
A second job is the design of an interchange on Ruta 2 in the province of Cartago.
A third job is the improvement of 93 kilometers of roadway between Palmar Norte and Paso Canoas.
If there are no objections from other bidders, the jobs will be awarded after highway staffers study the details.
