Salvadoran leader visiting today

Salvador Sánchez Cerén, the president of El Salvador, will be in Costa Rica today to meet with President Luis Guillermo Solís. As protocol dictates, the first event will be placing a wreath at the Monumental Nacional at 10 a.m.

The two presidents have plenty to talk about, including the transportation of Salvadoran citizens to Costa Rica, as was announced Tuesday, and the general situation of migrants passing through both countries.

Many of the illegal African migrants have left Costa Rica and are believed to be en route to the United States, probably through El Salvador.
