Tilarán chronic pain clinic in new building

After six years a new pain clinic has opened in Tilarán with money provided by the  Junta de Protección Social, the lottery agency.

The  Fundación de Tilarán Clínica del Dolor y Cuidados Paliativos had been working out of a converted home since 2006.

The clinic already has more than 400 patients in the area who suffer form chronic pain.

The two-story clinic cost 50 million colons or about $92,000.
