Flurry of felt earthquakes reported

The earth was active Thursday beginning with a 4.7-magnitude quake with an estimated epicenter 16 kilometer south of  Bahia Ballena in Osa at 7:34 a.m., said the Red Sismológica Nacional de Costa Rica, which also reported these events:

At 9:33 a.m. a 3.0-magnitude quake took place about six kilometers southwest of  Ciudad Neily in Corredores. Then at 12:53 p.m. a 4.5-magnitude quake was reported 49 kilometers south of  Cobano on the Nicoya peninsula.

At 10:35 p.m. a 3.8-magnitude quake took place in the Central Valley two kilometers south of Santo Domingo de Heredia.
