Highway officials expect many in the Central Valley to spend all or part of the weekend at the beaches. They will make Ruta 27, the Caldera highway, one way east from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday to accommodate vacationers. Those headed west will have to use alternate routes. The route will be closed completely an hour before and after as traffic police install and remove appropriate signage and traffic cones.
